Clearing snow is hard work! We cleaned my dad's car hoping he would be able to venture out the next day. (Update: He did!)
This branch close up if from a tree in the backyard; a few hours later the snow toppled the tree from the weight. You can see the downed tree in the next pic.
Our backyard. At least 3 ft of snow (could be more!). The big mess of branches used the be an upright tree in the corner of the yard. RIP.
The blizzard of 2010 left many of us venturing out on foot instead of driving. It was nice to walk around the neighborhood to see the aftermath of Snowpocalypse.
